This is Kenneth.
I just wanted to share my day today with you guys, so during Tuesdays its my rest day. I have no schedule in school and I already finished revising my thesis. Since I got no scheduled class I feel the need to be lazy, I just played Clash of Clans and the likes, the usual things I do during my free time. Then suddenly I received a text message from a Professor “Urgent meeting today 3:00pm”, when I received the message it was already 1:45PM and usually it takes me an hour to prepare and get myself fixed so I was late.
This is how I looked like when I’ve read the text message lol.
Upon arriving, I’ve learned that the “urgent” meeting was for the preparation of our campus’ annual party. So yeah, we had the meeting and discussed about the theme and what have you. Since the tentative date for the party was December 19, basically less than a week before Christmas so we ended up having some sort of Christmas themed party. For every party, we have the dance presentation per class, but this year we have decided to have a tableau instead. The concept of the tableau performance is to show the different cultures and traditions of other countries on how they celebrate the yuletide season. So everyone in the meeting suggested a country that celebrates Christmas. Of course, we had excluded the Philippines because that wouldn’t have any challenge because everybody knows how we, the Filipino people celebrate Christmas.
The countries to vie for were United Kingdom, U.S.A, Spain, India, Norway, Australia, Japan and South Korea. I believe that my class would have great advantage if I could just luckily pick South Korea in the draw lots, but unfortunately I got Spain instead. It would be very easy for me and my class if I got South Korea because of my knowledge in KPOP lol. Well come to think of it, it would be a great challenge for my class and specially to me as well because South Korea is a comfort zone for us, there wouldn’t be any challenge. Besides, Spain is also one of the best Christmas celebrating countries of all time, in that case, I guess we’ll still be able to pull this out! I’m excited! Feliz Navidad!
See you again!
